Harry Potter Hogwarts Myster hitting iOS this month, featuring voiceovers by original cast

 The Harry Potter mobile RPG game, Harry Potter: Hogwarts Mystery will feature a large portion of the film series' cast, and has a confirmed release date of April 25.


The actors from the film series who will be featured include Dame Maggie Smith as Professor McGonagall, Michael Gambon as Professor Dumbledore, Warwick Davis as Professor Flitwick, Sally Mortemore as Madam Irma Pince, Gemma Jones as Madam Pomfrey, and Zoe Wanamaker as Madam Hooch.
The game will arrive for both iOS and Android on April 25.
Jam City's Harry Potter: Hogwarts Mystery was announced at the end of last year and will be published under Warner Bros. new Harry Potter games label, Portkey. Players will take on the role of a student at the school of Witchcraft and Wizardry, working their way through multiple years of classes and shenanigans.
"Our goal with Harry Potter: Hogwarts Mystery is to make players really feel for the first time like they’re attending Hogwarts,” said Chris DeWolfe, co-founder and CEO of Jam City. “By including these iconic and incredibly talented actors in the game, we come one step closer to truly giving fans their own Hogwarts experience.”
Pre-registrations are open for the game and you can sign up on Google Play for notifications when the game officially releases on April 25.
Dame Maggie Smith and other actors from Warner Bros.’ Harry Potter films will be giving voice to characters in the new “Harry Potter: Hogwarts Mystery” role-playing game, which is officially slated to launch April 25.
